The online publication "Land Reclamation and Hydraulic Engineering" is registered with the Federal Service for Supervision in the Field of Communications, Information Technologies and Mass Communications as a mass media El No. FS77-81585 from 03.08.2021 (until 03.08.2021, the name of the online publication "Scientific Journal of Russian Scientific Research Institute of Land Improvement Problems", ISSN 2222-1816, established on October 1, 2010).

The purpose of the journal is to publish original scientific articles that meet modern requirements of theory and best practice, to highlight the latest achievements and prospects of scientific and practical activities in the field of land reclamation, water management, hydraulic engineering, to create a unified scientific platform for integrating the knowledge and experience of leading scientists and practitioners in these fields, testing scientific research of young scientists and postgraduates.
The mission of the Journal is the comprehensive assistance in dealing with land reclamation problems by publishing original research articles which significantly contribute to the advancement of knowledge and improvement of understanding the current problems of the meliorative sector of agro-industrial complex
The scientific journal publishes original scientific articles on the results of scientific research on land reclamation, water management and agrophysics, general agriculture and crop science, hydraulic engineering, hydraulics and engineering hydrology.
The objective of the Journal is to promote scientific knowledge exchange of Russian and foreign scientists and to inform specialists and public on scientific and practical results of scientific research.
The target audience of the Journal comprises researchers, faculty, postgraduate and undergraduate students, policy-makers, businessmen, expert community, and others who are interested in land reclamation problems
The publication of articles in our Journal gives the authors the opportunity to integrate the obtained research results into the international scientific and information space.
Copyright Notice: The use of works of science is carried out in compliance with the legislation of the Russian Federation on copyright (Chapter 70 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation). The authors retain the copyright to the work and grant the journal the right of the first publication.
Authors grant the journal the right to the first publication of their work under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike International 4.0 license, which allows other consumers to edit, correct, and create new materials based on them, even for commercial purposes, as long as they credit authorship with the obligatory preservation of references to the authors of the original work and the original publication in this journal and license their new works under the identical terms.

Language of publications: Journal is published in Russian/English. English is used for titles of the journals and articles, abstracts, keywords.
Peer Review: The order of publication in the journal provides for mandatory reviewing of scientific articles. All scientific articles submitted to the journal’s Editorial Board are subject to mandatory one-way anonymous (“blind”) reviewing (the manuscript authors do not know the reviewers and receive a copy of the review with comments without specifying the reviewer).
Plagiarism Detection
The editorial board of the journal, when considering the article, checks the material using the Anti-Plagiarism system. In case of multiple borrowings are discovered, the COPE guidelines on plagiarism will be followed.
Autor Fees: including translation into English, design of the References, peer review of scientific articles is 3940 rubles.
The articles of postgraduates are published free of charge.
There is no fee for publishing an article on a website.
The journal provides payment benefits for publication for authors from low-income countries, discounts for authors from lower-middle-income countries and / or benefits and discounts for other authors with obvious needs.
Disclosure and Conflict of Interests
Unpublished data disclosed in a submitted manuscript must not be used in personal research without the written consent of the Author.
Information or ideas received through peer review and related to potential benefits must be kept confidential and not used for personal advantage.
The journal provides publication fee waivers for authors from low-income economies, discounts for authors from lower middle-income economies, and/or waivers and discounts for other authors with demonstrable needs.
